Our Story

Hello from Tokyo! πŸ‘‹

Saya dari Malaysia β€” I moved to Tokyo for work and fell in love twice: first with ramen, then with my incredible wife.

She's my oni-san πŸ‘Ή β€” a playful nickname she earned because of her fierce love for spicy food (and maybe her temper when she's hungry!).

Together, we navigate the beautiful chaos of cross-cultural life. From teaching her to make nasi lemak to her teaching me the art of tamagoyaki, every day is an adventure.

This blog is our digital diary β€” a place to share recipes, restaurant finds, and our jalan jalan (Malay for wandering) around Japan and beyond.
